Revelations of Joy

YOU create your own life warts and all! I have spent the last three days creating a space that includes plenty of time to accomplish all tasks; adequate time with friends and family; adequate time for rest and just plain ME time. It has been glorious! How soon I tend to forget - when life is spinning in the wrong direction, I am in control.

You see we acknowledge control during times of plenty and fail to acknowledge that same control in times of lack. I am back on track. As the well-known poem "Invictus" states

I am the Master of my Fate
I am the Captain of my Soul

Onward and upward.

  1. I started reading your blog by a "Coincidence". My story goes; I was reviewing some old emails, like really old from over a year ago. I was home from work due to being ill. Which is a rare occurrence for me. As, I was reviewing the elder emails I came across yours Sherry. I remembered your presentation at Heart Felt Conversations about your book. Also, remember your interview on my radio show. All of these occurrences I mounted up as "Coincidences". How wrong I was. I could have been angry, but Sherry set me straight. You said to me; "Their are no Coincidence." I can't remember the rest, but the paraphrasing was to the effect It was suppose to be.

So, here I am again learning from Sherry again. Thank you Sherry.

To my revelation and true purpose of my comment. We are the masters of our destiny. I find myself trying to manage the World, when all I need to manage is myself.

I am the Master of my Fate
I am the Captain of my Soul

How timely this quote found me as I mentally struggled how I was going to manage my life that seems to be spiraling out of my control. When in fact it never left my control.

Re-fous, Resolve, Stand Fast is my new mantra.

Again, Thank you Sherry D. Ransom for being here.
